Lindsay Messina

Lindsay, the eldest of three daughters grew up in Hudson Valley, New York where she ran Varsity Track. As a personal trainer Lindsay educates women about fitness and their bodies. She teaches a myriad of classes including, but not limited to: Cardio Pump, Boot Camp, Bosu Balancing, Core ball training, lower body sculpting, urban rebounding and plyometrics. Lindsay has won six overall fitness titles and has racked up four 2nd place finishes. She has recently become known as Ms. Fitness America 2008. Lindsay's work ethic and determination has landed her in the pages of Women's Health, Runner's World, Shape, Muscle and Fitness, Muscle and Fitness Hers, Oxygen and Fitness magazines. She has also graced the covers of Oxygen and Muscle and Fitness Hers. She is a contributing writer for various women's fitness publications. 1. Park your car a few blocks away from your destination and unload your belongings i.e. groceries, one bag at a time. This small action will help you to burn more calories.
2. Don't eat out as much! Talk to Vanessa our amazing chef to pre-plan your meals for the week (I plan my meals on Sundays).
3. Invest in three multi-tasking pieces of workout equipment that will make your workouts super efficient i.e. a Bosu, a medicine ball, and resistance bands.

4. Team training is key. Find a partner who matches your fitness level and work out together. It'll make for a social gathering and will also be also cost friendly.
5. Wear a pedometer or a calorie watch and each day push yourself to beat yesterday's number.
6. Economy Savings Tip: Do your homework! I give my clients a workout plan to follow when they're not with me. If you don't do your homework, it's just going to make your time frame that much longer and more expensive.
